I am incredibly impressed by the ring. Tell Nick that he has impeccable taste. I am completely serious and not being catty at all: he rocks. I keep trying to impress this point with my sisters: the more you spend on the ring, the less you get to spend on the honeymoon. Traveling is WAY better than jewelry. Yes. Congrats.

Congratulations!! I am thrilled for you both. My husband and I went through a similar story a few years ago and I can tell you that nearly 7 years alter. it's totally worth it!! We went the K1 Fiabce visa route so feel free to email; if you need advice. I must say tho, although we were told the spousal is tougher, I know a few people that went that route instead and they found it a LOT easier. Plus, you're not separated while you're waiting for the visa to come in. It took a year for mine to come through and Chris and I couldn't see each other because I couldn't come to the US to visit and he has kids so he couldn't get to the UK. We made it tho and we're happier than anyone could imagine- anyone except you of course!!
