Congratulations! It must be a great feeling! I legitimately can't wait to read it!

YAY! I don't even know you but I can't wipe this stupid proud smile off my face for you.

I love the following:

a) the beautiful green. this will stand out like the bright orange shampoo bottles at Target. People will pick it up just for this hue. I love it. I wish I had a shirt in this color and the exact coveractually on a shirt.

b) the lightening bolt on the back.

c) all of it. it is just going to rock

d) that i preordered it the moment you posted the information about it and still it doesn't feel like enough to support a stranger making her dreams happen.

your writing usually inspires me to write, but ALWAYS makes me laugh. Except today, it was more of a smile instead of a laugh.

**knuckles** [or as i recently heard it's now "bump it"?]

Congrats!

I've been too totally shy to ever post a comment on your website (I posted on your Flickr, though), but this is SO EXCITING. YAY FOR YOU! I have loved your writing for a pretty long time now, and it's been really awesome to watch the Cringe success story unfold. Just, gosh.

I don't really know you, and I don't even have kids, but I think I feel like a proud parent, a parent who watched her daughter grow up and exploit (her) awkward adolescence for the benefit of mankind, to make them laugh out loud.

What a journey, girl. Propers to all the contributors and super-high fives and great big hugs to you.

Can't wait to read! Congratulations.

Sarah,
I was introduced to you at Dooce..and not surprised to hear you have a book at this stage of completion. Good for you...for writing it, allowing others to participate in it...for still thinking it is something of value after the editing process and for being able to laugh with...well with yourself, since none of US have seen it yet. Very red light district of you...dancing your book around half naked behind a wall of glass...getting us all hot and bothered to get our hands on it, to sink ourselves deep inside its...pages. Heroin is a good analogy! When do you start the next one? How's it go?...the first one is free, tell your friends???
Read ya soon.

OMG you have an ISBN! Sarah, your book is in the Library of Congress! Wow! This is crazy but I have spent the last two hours off and on searching for my junior high diary, which I swear to you is the same color as the cover of your book. And it has a very similar lock. Can you believe I've kept it since 1954? Do you know if your Mom has hers? I know your folks are so proud of you. Here's hoping it sells out before it hits the shelves! I'm quite sure that junior high and high school libraries will not be able to keep any copies for checkout! Speaking as a former school librarian, I've been there; I know the little thieves will steal every copy! ;)
Congratulations! May it be the first of many!
