Sarah Brown, you sho' nuff do be cookin'. ; ) Seriously. Some amazing energy landed over wherever you were born on...the day you were born. ; ) It's so wonderfully strange to be so happy for someone I've never once met in person or talked to, but I am SO happy for you. It's obvious that you really are one of the good ones, and nothing makes me happier than to see people like you get an awesome break.

I KNEW this would be a book. I KNEW someone in that city would have the sense to channel your vibe and your brain and your idea.

In summation, two things: my life has been a continual cringe, so feel free to call on me...and in semi-related fashion, I think crying in the bathroom at work in a GOOD way is the best outcome ever.

Congratulations, Sarah.

posted by laurie on September 28, 2006 at 01:27 AM

Holy shit Sarah Brown, life's just a bowl of cherries, ain't it. One day you're partyin' with eighties rock stars and groundbreaking feminists and the next day you've got a god damn book deal.

This would be an excellent appetite whetter as we wait for the book. Say...a one minute clip each week? (If you can pare something down to that small.) You could become a multimedia empire!!
